Microbiomes are having a moment. From the gut to the skin, and even beneath our feet in the soil, these invisible ecosystems are proving essential to human health and the planet's wellbeing.
At Herb House, we're exploring this intricate connection between the soil and human microbiome with three experts. Peigin Crowley, founder of Ground Wellbeing, will introduce her new Ground Biome Facial and skincare range, designed to strengthen the skin's barrier and promote longevity by supporting the skin microbiome.
Joining Peigin is our resident forager, Sammie Longhorn, who will share insights from her Wildbiome science project with the University of Bradford, where she ate only wild, foraged foods for three months to explore the link between gut health and wellbeing. Completing the panel is Kate Forrester, co-owner of Four Acre Farm, whose no-dig, chemical-free methods supply Lime Wood with nutrient-rich produce. The message is simple: healthy soil creates healthy food, which supports a healthy gut, and ultimately, healthy skin.
Join us for a conversation on how caring for your skin and gut microbiomes can boost immunity, digestion, and skin health, because it’s not only what you put in your body, but also what you put on it.
Your ticket will include welcome refreshments, an insightful talk with Peigin, Kate and Sammie, plus a special wellness gift to take home!
