Join Mollie from Four Acre Farm at Lime Wood from 10am-12pm on Monday 26th May 2025 in the Raw & Cured garden for an exciting morning exploring the fascinating world of moths! We'll be checking the moth traps set the night before, identifying the species we've caught, and learning all about these delicate creatures — from their life cycles to their favourite foods. It's an interactive, hands-on experience perfect for all ages. Afterward, enjoy complimentary refreshments and pastries at Raw & Cured.
Moths are frequently overlooked in favour of their butterfly cousins, yet these fascinating insects are essential to pollination and maintaining biodiversity. With more than 2,500 species found in the UK, they are an integral part of our ecosystem. This event offers an excellent chance to explore their variety, life cycle, and significance in an interactive and immersive setting.
Ticket price of £35 includes pastries and refreshments, and the two hour workshop with Mollie. Each ticket grants entry for one adult and one child under the age of 18. Any additional guests over the age of 18 will need to purchase their own ticket to attend the event.
