Moth and Nature Morning

Moth and Nature Morning

  • Lasts 2 hours

Join Mollie from Four Acre Farm from 10am-12pm on Sunday 31st May at Lime Wood for an exciting morning exploring the fascinating world of moths in the Raw & Cured Garden.

We’ll begin by checking the moth traps set the night before, identifying the species discovered and learning more about these delicate and often overlooked creatures - from their life cycles to the plants they depend on. This interactive, hands-on experience is perfect for curious minds of all ages. Afterwards, enjoy pastries and refreshments at Raw & Cured.

Moths are often overshadowed by their butterfly cousins, yet they play an essential role in pollination and supporting biodiversity. With more than 2,500 species found across the UK, they are a vital part of our ecosystem. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to discover their diversity, life cycles and ecological importance in an engaging and immersive setting.
